- The Blue Wolves of Mibu is written and illustrated by Tsuyoshi Yasuda and was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine starting from October 2021.
- The 11th compiled book volume was released on November 16.
- Kodansha USA Publishing has acquired the English license for the manga and plans to begin printing it in spring 2024.
Synopsis:
The manga follows the story of Nio, an orphan with dreams of a better world. In the action-packed narrative, he encounters two men who demonstrate how a few swords can change history. Set in a world reminiscent of Rurouni Kenshin, the series delves into the founding of the Shinsengumi by handsome and volatile men who fight for justice and their own ideals.
Author’s Previous Works:
- Tsuyoshi Yasuda is also the creator of the DAYS soccer manga, which received a television anime adaptation in 2016 and five original video anime episodes from 2017 to 2018.
- Additionally, Yasuda’s Over Drive bicycling manga inspired a TV anime in 2007.
