FIFTY FIFTY’s sensational track “Cupid” has secured its place as TikTok’s Top Song of 2023, marking another significant achievement for the K-pop group. However, amidst these triumphs, FIFTY FIFTY has faced a significant lineup change. ATTRAKT, the group’s agency, announced the termination of contracts for three out of the four members—Aran, Sio, and Saena. The agency stated that these members had filed lawsuits that allegedly “slandered and defamed the agency” and aimed to terminate their contracts. Keena is now the sole remaining member after dropping her lawsuit and returning to ATTRAKT.
The lineup alteration follows a contract dispute initiated by all four members against ATTRAKT in June. The dispute, according to reports from the Korea Times, cited breaches of contract, including the agency’s failure to provide accounting data and neglect of the group’s mental health. ATTRAKT has not disclosed the future plans for FIFTY FIFTY in the wake of these changes.
